Laura’s mission is to provide a safe counseling environment free from weight stigma and instead focusing on whole body wellness. She believes that the most rewarding part of being a dietitian is helping her clients feel empowered, motivated, and understood with customized and compassionate care.
Originally from Maryland, Laura earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Maryland, a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed her clinical dietetic internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Laura is passionate about the prevention and management of chronic inflammatory conditions such as endometriosis, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and many more. She also holds a special interest in helping patients learn how to navigate cancer prevention with a family history and nourishment during treatment and remission. Laura also enjoys working with clients to identify and manage the root cause of functional GI disorders and gynecological conditions like PCOS and PMDD.
