Andrew was born and raised on the Jersey Shore. He moved to North Carolina in 2009 to study nutrition at NC State. He continued his nutrition studies at North Carolina Central University and went on to complete his dietetic training and master’s in nutrition at Lenoir-Rhyne University. His interests include gut health, heart health, and helping individuals foster a positive relationship with food.
Andrew began his nutrition career as an inpatient clinical dietitian. This role focused on the impact of nutrition therapy on health including diabetes/prediabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, and various GI issues. As part of the Loop Nutrition team, Andrew supports clients by helping them identify and take the next steps in their health journey. He is passionate about evidenced-based nutrition and takes a flexible, individualistic approach to achieving nutrition and health goals.
In his free time, Andrew loves watching movies with his wife, playing golf, and singing original songs to his newborn daughter, Micah.
